This course has been envisaged and designed to learn the most basic aspects and principles of management in trauma. Trauma is the most common topic that a resident has to deal with in any institute and the current scenario is such that eminence-based protocols are followed at most places and hence a resident might find it difficult to follow the treatment regimens as there will be a discrepancy between what he or she follow in their institute and what they see in the books. But the principles remain the same across the globe and this is what each one of us should understand and imbibe.
