Prof. Dr. Shantharam Shetty Sir with more than 35 years’ experience, is an Orthopaedic Surgeon of international repute, a teacher par excellence and an able administrator. The Tejasvini Hospital and Shantharam Shetty Institute of Orthopedics and Traumatology (SSIOT) were started by Prof. (Dr) M Shantharam Shetty, with an aim to provide specialized state-of-the-art orthopedic care to all patients irrespective of their economic status.

As a student of orthopedics, in their first year of residency, one has to be familiar with the basics before dealing with patients. This includes ward and Operation theatre (OT) discipline.
