As a student of orthopedics, in their first year of residency, one has to be familiar with the basics before dealing with patients. This includes ward and Operation theatre (OT) discipline. What to do after residency? This is one of the most frequently asked questions by the students after clearing their final examinations. Conceptual orthopedics helps the students, by giving them career guidance along with sessions on ‘how to choose their field of expertise. CO tries to inculcate interest in them by performing specific super-specialty courses with Professors who are directly involved with such fellowship training programs. As an orthopedic surgeon, there are a few surgeries that everyone must be able to do. Going through them once before each OT, even when one is assisting can give clear and accurate learning and understanding about each surgical procedure.

As a clinician there are various clinical tests that one has to use to reach a diagnosis. Most of the tests are learned with practice and this aids them to diagnose the exact clinical condition. However, if once learned in the wrong way it is very difficult to unlearn the same. Taking this into consideration our app has a detailed ‘clinical examination’ part which each student can just glance through before walking to a patient and each time he can do it in the proper way.
