Foot And Ankle

Foot & Ankle Trauma Course
To Help Build Your Concepts
28th & 29th May 2022 I 4 PM – 8 PM

Trauma is always a challenging problem to deal with it. And when it comes to foot and ankle trauma, it becomes even more complex with many problems being missed or neglected. While all of us can manage and operate on ankle fractures at the beginning of our residency, many lack the knowledge how to assess these fractures pre as well as intraoperatively and describe each component of the fracture leading to instability so that it can be dealt well with reduced risk of long-term problems.
Similarly in foot, many of the surgeons are trained to deal with most of the fractures non-operatively with less knowledge of the indications when an injury needs further evaluation or needs surgical intervention.

To bridge this gap, we are coming up with a course specially addressed to Foot & Ankle trauma. It is going to be a 2-Day Course with first day focusing only on Ankle Fractures and second day on foot.

The First day will have talks on common foot and ankle topics like ankle fractures and tibial pilon fractures along with less frequently discussed but more frequently missed problems like Syndesmotic Injuries, Posterior Malleolus Fractures, Pediatric Ankle Fractures along with Neglected Ankle Fractures.

Second day will include discussions on calcaneum & talus fractures, Lisfranc fracture dislocation, metatarsal fractures including Jones fractures as well as Achilles’ tendon ruptures and malunited calcaneal fractures.

It will be a 2-day 4 hour each academic extravaganza with renowned faculties
Dr. Ravinder Dimri, Dr. Ajith Kumar, Dr. Shailesh Pai, Dr. Maninder Shah Singh, Dr. Harpreet Singh, Dr. Faheem Kotekar, Dr. Naufal Nahas & Dr. Apurv Mehra.

We hope that this course will clear your concepts about trauma around foot and ankle region and improve your management skills for both the usual and unusual cases around foot and ankle region.
